5th District News and Information
The Albemarle party recently had a meeting. It went great.
Among other things we talked about who would be interested in running for office. Four of us expressed fairly serious interest in running for local or state office within the next year or two.
We also talked about campaigning for Ron Paul. We decided to pass out Ron Paul literature together at some busy places in Charlottesville on two different days. By the time the two days were over, we had passed out about 1,000 pieces of literature.
We decided to start meetings on the first Friday of each month at 7 pm. The place will be determined.
ATTENTION CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS
The following is an open letter from our Regional Director to all Congregational leaders. If you are interested in having the Constitution Party address your congregation or arrange a speaking engagement outside of scheduled services, contact Michael Lusk here.
Dear Sir or Ma'am: As you know, we are rapidly approaching the time in which we, collectively, as a nation will determine how we are to be represented in the office of President of the United States of America. At a time when Christian leaders are endorsing candidates that contradict our most basic and fundamental beliefs, we as Christians are forced to either vote for “the lesser of two evils” or not cast a vote at all. True comprehension of the Biblical foundation of America’s republic is the key to protecting it. I wish to submit to the local body of Christ, the alternative voice of Conservative Christians and to convey the full significance of the Christian voice in our government. How the “Christian Conservative vote” is more than a special interest group to be pandered to, as viewed by “big box party” candidates seeking office. The love we share of America brings us together as countrymen. Our love and obedience to Jesus Christ is what binds us as brother and sisters into the family of God. The need for Christ-honoring resistance to anti-family, immoral and unconstitutional federal intrusion is at an all-time high. Founding Father and signer of the Constitution, Noah Webster said;
Our Heavenly Father illustrates, for us, the importance of history in…
I welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you further and I thank you for your time and attention. If you have any questions, or comments, please feel free to contact me. May God bless you and may God continue to bless America. In Christ, Scott Wolk - Chairman, Constitution Party of the Roanoke Valley |
