Dear Sir or Ma'am: As you know, we are rapidly approaching the time in which we, collectively, as a nation will determine how we are to be represented in the office of President of the United States of America. At a time when Christian leaders are endorsing candidates that contradict our most basic and fundamental beliefs, we as Christians are forced to either vote for “the lesser of two evils” or not cast a vote at all. It is, therefore, that I request to present a reading of the Word of God and make introduction illustrating evidence that safeguarded Christian principles as it applies to patriotism and the foundational values of our nation. True comprehension of the Biblical foundation of America’s republic is the key to protecting it. I wish to submit to the local body of Christ, the alternative voice of Conservative Christians and to convey the full significance of the Christian voice in our government. How the “Christian Conservative vote” is more than a special interest group to be pandered to, as viewed by “big box party” candidates seeking office. The love we share of America brings us together as countrymen. Our love and obedience to Jesus Christ is what binds us as brother and sisters into the family of God. The need for Christ-honoring resistance to anti-family, immoral and unconstitutional federal intrusion is at an all-time high. Founding Father and signer of the Constitution, Noah Webster said; “Our citizens should early understand that the genuine source of correct republican principles is the Bible, particularly the New Testament, or the Christian religion.”
Our Heavenly Father illustrates, for us, the importance of history in… Hebrews 10:32... “But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of affliction”
I welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you further and I thank you for your time and attention. If you have any questions, or comments, please feel free to contact me. May God bless you and may God continue to bless America. In Christ, Scott Wolk - Chairman, Constitution Party of the Roanoke Valley |
